May 24 [Outlook 31 and 26] Breezy clear weather. We encountered rocks and a tree down on the Forest Road between the entrance and White Oak campground. We used our handsaw to clear a path for the vehicle and later a local person came with a chainsaw to remove it from the road.
A new Forest Patrol, Dave Vincent [#19?] newly hired for Prevention, stopped by to get the lay of the land. He will be based out of Arroyo Seca.
