Hey, all! Just a quick note from my shift on July 5-6.

– When I arrived early July 5, the gate was closed but not locked. I checked in with Brendan and confirmed that he wanted it to remain locked unless there was a fire emergency.
– I placed a padlock on the new temporary weather station immediately to the north of the tower and left the keys on the desk in case someone comes looking for them.
– I found a 4.5′ long snake skin (with no snake inside) just east of the tower. Someone’s been eating well! It did not appear to be a rattler (the tail end tapered off with no sign of rattles).

The road is in great condition.
