Mostly quiet day with little wind and high temps in the low 80s.
Comms good on FN Tone 10, but admin net was having issues and little radio traffic (on scan) until early afternoon. Called out of service at 1800.

Had a bit of a panic at the gate when I found the Chews lock and cross piece on the ground inside the gate tube, and the MIRA lock attached to the bottom of the locking pole. Scott Gabel from MIRA arrived just as we were wondering “Now what?” Turns out he’d made a quick trip down Tassajara Road to jump start a truck, and hadn’t actually locked the lock.

Red ants have active nests along side the driveway, so watch out for those! The bites really hurt.
