Lookout #51 and lookout#7 went up on 2/10/23 for tower check. Road was easily passable in a 4Runner no 4 wheel required. Large puddle shortly after gate at Nason Ranch , some snow still on the road, also road was very rocky due to storms, and had some erosion ditches.

Tower in good shape however roof leaks evident. Two shutters needed repair due to
broken chains. We repaired them.

Outhouse walls were blown down in wind storm. We unfortunately were not prepared to fix this.

Did not observe and rat/mouse problems and no fly problem as was reported from last tower check.

The Mira caretaker dropped by and said he and his dog had an encounter with a large bobcat at the pullout spot across the road from the tower gate.
